Gia is 17 weeks, next week we go to the Dr. for her second round of shots and to see how much little one has grown. She is now in size 2 diapers!! Gia's personality is really starting to develop. She is soooooo strong!! The grip on my hand when I feed her is hysterical, like she is holding on for dear life LOL! She also found her voice as she coo's, goo's, and makes high pitched sounds, it is hysterical. We are so lucky to have such a happy baby. When we get Gia in the morning out of her crib, she is smiling and giggling, it is so priceless. She is also noticing EVERYTHING now it is so amazing how alert she is!!!  Gia also made a jump in the formula drinking, she steadily puts back 5-6 oz a clip now LOL!! Next, week when we go to the Dr. I am sure he will say it is ok to integrate a little cereal, so we will see. I think with all her drooling, she is starting to do the teething thing.  Still sucking her thumb too!  She also is starting to get fussy when she is not in my arms... believe me I love having her in my arms more than anything in this world, but it does get a bit tiring LOL!!  Mommy and Daddy just love you so much baby girl, you are our everything!!

Had a great birthday at mom and dad's yesterday. My brother made me my favorite sauce and mom made me eggplant parm.. another favorite.. topped off with carrot cake. Everything was so yummy. It was truly a very special day with my family and even more special because this birthday Gia "The Jeej" was with us.

Gia and I had the best time at Melissa and Presley's house yesterday!!  These two are for sure going to be best buds!!  We took so many pictures it was so hard to choose which ones to post!  I think the cutest thing Melissa and I witnessed was our girls holding hands and wrapping their little precious arms around each other , it was truly priceless and so memorable!  All things we can share with them when they get older. LOL, Melissa and I said it will be so fun for the girls to have sleep over's at each of our homes. Gia and I can't wait to have another play date! We love Auntie Melissa and Presley very much!! xoxoxoox

The love of our lives!

I can't believe our baby girl is 16 weeks old!! Where is the time going? Gia is growing wonderfully! This  week was the first time we heard her giggle, now she is doing it all the time and I swear it is the best sounds EVER!!! Gia must weigh about 12+ pounds now. We will get the official weight at her next Dr. appt. on September 7th. She continues to suck her thumb from time to time as well. We have really noticed that her focus on us when we leave the room and when we are in front of her has gotten so much  sharper!!  She knows when her Mommy and Daddy are near her and not there that is for sure! Gia also has been grabbing at things and holding on to things every tightly... strong baby girl!! I have been back to work part time and I hate leaving you Gia so much, but at least I get home in the early afternoon and get to spend the rest of the day with you!!!  WE LOVE YOU BABY GIRL!! CAN"T STOP KISSING "THE JEEJ!!' I have no idea where "The Jeej" name came from, but one day I just started calling Gia "The Jeej" LOL! Now my students call her "The Jeej" haha. Yes, very crazy!!  Onto week 17!! OMG!!!!
