Gia is 30 WEEKS!!

Our little love is 30 weeks already, this Sunday will be the official 7 months already!! Gia is grabbing at our faces and studying them more and more. We melt when she does this because her big beautiful eyes look right into ours. Her hair is coming in more and more too. She continues to also show us her strength in trying to grab things and holding onto to us more when we all hold her. The babbles continue and we encourage talking with her as mush as possible. Gia smiles all the time at us especially when Daddy says to Gigi,"You want to go to work and bring your jellyfish?" She just giggles away... We also noticed from time to time when we call to her she looks at us and we do something funny and she buries her face  into whatever she is in (crib, pack n play, or us), it is soooo cute, little miss shy!! LOL! I noticed yesterday that her 2 bottom teeth are noticeable now and starting to surface through the skin. Hopefully for the Jeej the teething process will go well with minimal pain... the hand eating, biting, etc. is in full force. We have been giving her the teething rings and homeopathic pellets to keep her soothed. She has also been more wakeful during this teething process. Gia continues to eat well. She got through all the vegetables just fine... in fact if little one ever gets constipated, we know to give her string beans LOL!! We will start integrating the meats now and fruit in the morning with her oatmeal. We wanted to make sure she got the taste for all the vegetables before she starts to taste the sweetness of fruit. Gigi, Mommy and Daddy cherish every moment of every day we get to spend with you, it is all a gift from God as you are!! We love you more than anything in this universe! xooxoxoxoooxoxo

HAPPY THANKSGIVING AGAIN!!

Today was such a great day. The meal was perfect and just being able to spend it with friends and family was the best! It was really special when my brother read a piece he found regarding what Thanksgiving means, my Dad then said a prayer, and then we all went around the table and said what we are all thankful for. It was truly a special and blessed Thanksgiving.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

This is one of most likely 2 more posts from today. It is Gigi's first Thanksgiving and Mommy, Daddy, Bella, Bosco, and Little Igby along with everyone else are so excited to celebrate with you!! So, I was up at 6am preparing the 18 lb bird that is going to take about 5 hours to cook. I have not cooked a turkey since 1994 when I was in college and my brother and we hosted Thanksgiving at our condo. That was a great day and still remember every bit of it and everything went perfect as I hope today does! This is a much larger turkey than in '94  but so far so good! I got some things done last night... the table settings...and some food that I could do the night before. We are having a traditional meal today... meaning no macaroni or anything Italian.
