A Family Shoot 1.28.12

Yesterday we all went to take our first professional family picture together. Gia is a natural!! She was smiling and laughing.. our little Jeej!!! Gia wore the special outfit Aunt Tami and Uncle Craig got her.. Burburry LOL!! There were so many poses to choose from. Sal and I both said we can't wait to do this again with our little munchkin girl! Perfect!

Ahhh Gia, you are the light in our lives. We lowered the crib last weekend to the lowest it can go now. Gia is doing wonderful and has her 9 month check coming up soon. 9 MONTHS!!!?? My gosh! Nothing much new from last week, grabbing things from our hands, inquisitive beyond belief, scooting around (her crawl), babbling, screaming her high pitched dinosaur scream, getting around in her snoopy chair like it is going out of style, and she definitely grew in length. I am sure she will move to the next car seat after this Dr's visit the beginning of Feb. The 2 top teeth here they come, I can feel the ridge and now there is the same symptoms as the bottom teeth.. sometimes a little cranky and drooling all over. WE LOVE YOU baby girl!! Gia is now making chewing motions with her jaw when she eats food which is new...Gia's head of hair is coming in like mad... and thick LOL... my mom said mine came in the same way and then turned curly and I looked like I had a little afro.... will post a picture of that at some point LOL!! Gia is hysterical, when I am feeding her or just holding her she will turn to look at me and then we lock eyes and she just smiles and I just melt... no words..Here are some pics from this week with Grandma and Grandpa with their Gigi Mas...

Gia is 37 weeks!!!

Another week has gone by with our little love.. time is just flying!! Gigi has been getting around quite a bit in her snoopy chair, she maneuvers so well in it, especially when she gets stuck in a corner.. she will go back and forth and side to side until she finds her way out! She scoots on her play mat also. When there is something not within her reach she gets up in the crawling position and scoots to it...the babbling is more and more and we have definitely heard the mama dada plenty of times now.. and her mmmm mmmm when she wants to eat. Now, when I make her bottle and her food, she for sure knows what is coming. When I am holding something and carrying her also, I have her reach out to what I am holding to help me out and Jeej holds it... practicing the transfer of objects LOL!! She loves to play with her colored rings and is learning how to take them off the stand and put them back on. It is so awesome watching her little mind go to town to figure something out and Gigi is so expressive!!! Wonder where she gets that from LOL! I started giving Gia little rice puffs too, from time to time... they melt on her tongue, but at first she made the funniest face because it was a different food consistency than she is used to, so I am integrating slow as a snack... she also had mango this week and sweet potato mixed with corn.. this girl can eat God bless her... in a few weeks she will have her 9 month check and we are pretty sure she will now move onto the next car seat... the toddler seat which we are all prepared for thanks to family! Soon Grandpa NY " Pa" is coming to visit and look for a winter bungalow to buy and we can't wait for him to see his Jeej, he has not seen her since she was 2 months old!! Our Jeej is 36 weeks!!!

Another week gone... time is just flying.... Gigi continues to do all the things from the previous week. We have noticed now she gets on her knees and arms bent to crawl but just bounces back and forth... who knows maybe she will go straight to walking... it is super cute to watch... Gia is also fascinated this week with our dog's water bowls, she bangs into them with her snoopy chair all the time. Gia is also going forward all the time now in her snoopy chair, at first it was just backwards and now it is forward and maneuvering around furniture and boy can she go fast!!! Gigi also loves sucking on her biscuits, the bib is coated with wet biscuit by the time she is done LOL!! She LOVES the game peek a boo, all she does is laugh when she hears "peek a boo!" Whenever she is on my lap now she stands and bends her knees, she is STRONG!!! That's our Jeej and we love you baby girl more than anything!!
