Our love is 4 months old on Saturday!!!!

Our little dumpling is 16 weeks old on Saturday.. I can't believe it!!! John has been trying to roll over for about 2 weeks now and always got caught half way, but this morning our boy did it!!!! He was in his pack and play and rolled all the way over and held his head straight up about 5 inches!!!! That's our boy!! John is eating his cereal 2 x and day and putting back the formula 6-7 oz! He giggles and makes sounds all the time now...and we LOVE it!!! Our handsome boy! Such a dreamboat... Still, those eyes always follow his momma!! I seriously can't get enough of my sweet boy... Next Wednesday John has his 4 month check which = shots.. which = Daddy being in the room for that. Can't wait to see how much he weighs now!!! I want to eat up those chunk a lunk legs !!!!!! Faccia Bello!!!

Hey! I'm the Jeej!!

First, I have to say our son is the biggest flirt already!! Many have told me that and now I truly believe it.. this kid is just a dreamboat.. the way he looks at you, well especially his mommy,  is just to die for.. those eyes. He does this half grin thing too that is just adorable. John Carmine I can't believe you are almost 4 months old!!!! You are now sleeping in your crib and eating cereal!!!! I love the way you have to hold my arm or hand when I am feeding you and you look up at me with that gorgeous face! Where has the time gone????  I am going back to work in less than 2 weeks and don't want to!!! At least I am part time and will get home before noon which is not so bad. I just enjoyed spending every second with John and Gia these past months.. Yes, it was truly the hardest thing in the world, in the beginning, with a newborn and a toddler... it was insane, especially by myself... but I look back now and cherish that mania as it is now a memory. Onto all new memories and adventures and we just love having Daddy home more with his new schedule... it is just perfect .  There is not a day that goes by that our Gia Bella does not amaze us or make us hysterically laugh. We say all the time how beautiful she is and that personality.. just a little love. Everyday I thank God for what I have, a wonderful husband and the fact that we have been blessed with 2 beautiful and healthy children that are just the most precious gifts in the world... praise God.

Our handsome little love had cereal for the first time today!

The formula was just not sustaining our little handsome bambino anymore so today I decided to start him off with  a tablespoon of baby cereal (single grain oatmeal) and see how he would like it. It was so cute, after the second spoonful he started to open his little mouth for more.. I alternated between spoonfuls of cereal and formula to wash it down LOL! If all goes well I will give him another tablespoon at night with his bottle then off to beddy bye!! From the pics above which were taken after the cereal feeding I would say our little one is contented!!!

Today is a sad sad day... Tomasina called me and told me she had put Dante down. It was time.. the cancer just got too aggressive and his quality of life was just not the same. Tommy did everything she could. You will be so missed our sweet sweet Dante but you are now at peace.. no more suffering and pain. You now join  Mavey, Sweet Pea, Sonny, and all of the other animal friends in doggy Heaven.. the most safest and joyful place to be..Go run free, play and jump! We will always love you our sweet big boy.

 HEAVEN'S DOGGY-DOOR

My best friend closed his eyes last night,

  As his head was in my hand.

The Doctors said he was in pain,

  And it was hard for him to stand.

The thoughts that scurried through my head,

  As I cradled him in my arms.

Were of his younger, puppy years,

  And OH...his many charms.

Today, there was no gentle nudge

  With an intense "I love you gaze",

Only a heart thats filled with tears

  Remembering our joy filled days.

But an Angel just appeared to me,

  And he said, "You should cry no more,

GOD also loves our canine friends,

  HE's installed a 'doggy-door"!
