Eventful weekend.... WOW!!!

Gia had her first dance recital for her ballet/tap class and we could not be more proud she danced her little heart out and it was so so cute seeing all the girls dance.. Gia is the youngest in the class, so so proud.. she will now take 2 more full sessions of ballet/tap!

Today was such an amazing day... my students are just the best... see below... and my 2 loves got me 2 owls which are the cutest things as Gia said one is John and one is her... my 3rd love.. the words you wrote in your card says it all.. many birthday wishes that made today extra special... As I turn 42 today I really can't believe it... I am truly blessed in more ways than one...especially God blessing me with a wonderful... well, everything....

A visit to Cabela's and lunch!

We just love going to Cabela's it is so much fun for all of us and we scope out what we will need to go full blown camping soon.. we really need a tent and sleeping bags.. Sal has a whole kitchen pretty much for outside use.. we love teaching the kiddos all the animals too.. John and Gia's eyes are wide open and let's not forget lunch... Elk and wild boar sandwiches and a bison burger to boot.. I never seen the kids eat like 2 little scavengers at lunch like they did today... I have to say the food is amazing... it was a fun afternoon of getting out of the heat, while learning and filling our bellies with delicious food!!

Yes, we added leg warmers (they look like ballet slippers) and a headband this week per Gia! She wore her tap shoes this week and had a blast!

My little dancer!!

Little Gigi loves her ballet class.. now she looks the part! She wanted the black outfit/black ballet shoes... she got many compliments today on wearing it... she also has tap shoes now! The class is so cute I sneaked a peak today through the door that is how I was able to get some of the pics above.. while the kiddos are dancing away.. us parents are talking away.. as soon as they find out I am a teacher the conversation goes to why in the heck do I teach 8th grade and what do I think about Common Core haha...
