Today was Gia and John's first day of school. Gia is in 2nd grade and baby John's (yes he will always have that name) first day of Kindergarten. I was emotional of course and riding to my own school as it was my first day trying to hold it together was not easy. I think what got me the most was when I pulled away and their little faces were waving at me from our front window. Sal took them and it went very smoothly he said. Gia was like the Mayor and a little mom to John. John is in the Mandarin Immersion program like Gia and has the same teacher for his homeroom as she had so, she took over and guided John like the awesome big sis she is. Both had a wonderful first day and I could not wait to pick them up after school! Day 1 down and we could not be more proud of the both of them. Way to go our loves!! We love you beyond words!
