Gia had her 2 month check today and everything went well. I had a list of questions for our Dr. and got them all answered. Now for the stats on little one! Gia is 10 lbs 10 oz!!!!!! She doubled her weight from the last time we saw the Dr. which was when she was 2 weeks. She is also 21 and 3/4 inches long , she was 19.5 last time, so our little bean is growing very well. No heart murmur so that is good and eyes, ears, head and body check are all perfect!! Gia got her scheduled shots today. I left the room I could not be in there , but Daddy Sal and Grandpa "Pa" NY were in there and Gia was a trooper she cried a little when they did the shots and that was it, she wanted her bottle because she was hungry!!! I will watch her closely today for any reactions and she will be getting infant tylenol every 4 hours as the Dr. recommended. Her next check is at 4 months for 4 shots, today she had 5. She is cooing and now focuses on you and her eyes move to where you are. The Dr. also said she should be napping every 2 hours and to put her down for a nap as she needs to learn how to comfort herself to sleep.. so we are getting the crib all ready to go. She has been sleeping with us so we can get some sleep and we LOVE it, but at the same time it is not a good routine to get into, so we must be diligent and practice what our Dr. says. It is almost time to get Gia's ear's pierced, so that will be happening soon too. Some pictures with Grandpa "Pa" NY and Daddy!
