Mommy and Daddy Sal went away this weekend to Flagstaff!

Sal and I went up the Flagstaff this weekend without our baby love. It was our first time leaving her overnight after almost 6 months. Grandma and Grandpa were in their glory and I was a mess when I left my Jeej. LOL and all Sal and I did was look at pictures of her when we were away and saying how we can't wait to take her with us next year. We basically went to see the changing leaves and feel the Fall weather. So many people have been telling us how important it is for us to have our alone time and that it is ok and very healthy to do. We had  a really great time together and it was really really nice to spend time just "us." But, YESSSSSS we missed Gia so much! We could not wait to go to my parents house to pick her up and what did my mom say when we got there? "You are not taking her!"  LOL!!! They, of course, had the best time with their love cake and it is good for Gia to spend that quality time with Grandma and Grandpa at their house without Mommy and Daddy too.

The weather in Flagstaff was awesome! During the day it was about 75 degrees and it was very very chilly at night! It got down to about 35 degrees! We went to the top of Snowbowl and hit up a bar for Happy Hour and off to Sushi for dinner, we stayed in a hotel that was close and within walking distance to everything. On the way home, we drove through Oak Creek Canyon which was amazing and so picturesque, it looked like a Fall calendar! There were Fall Festivals and Art Fairs everywhere! I think going that far North now is done for this year... there was actually snow in some parts of Flagstaff... the winter will be coming very soon!
