Fiancee's!! Soon to be Mr. and Mrs. John Snider!!!!
What a perfect night.. " Night in the 40's " Big Band Dance! This was our second year going and it was just as outstanding as the first year! The food, music, and atmosphere was the best! We entered the costume contest and won 3rd place, which we were very happy about because 1st and 2nd went to real WWII vets and they deserved it for sure!! I was asked about 8 times if my belly was real or part of "my costume" come on people are you serious? I was waddling all over the place and wearing flats!!!  Sal cut his hair military style and shaved his facial hair and this was the first time I ever saw him without his goatee... he wanted to look as authentic as possible... Sal was like a star there with his Airborne uniform.. people just stopped him all over the place wanting pictures and talking with him.. it was hysterical and of course he ate it all up! Another special part of the night was our friends Diane and John got engaged... John got on his knee in front of about 1500+ people at the dance and asked for her hand in marriage... it was so so awesome.. Diane was SHOCKED!! Needless to say it was a perfect addition to the night and we were so happy to be a part of their special moment!  The pics that you see above.. I made John re-do the proposal so I can get a picture, because when it was actually happening I tried to run back to our table and get the camera after the shock wore off of seeing him on his knee and could not get back in time to take pics of the actual moment.. LOL! We can't wait until next year's dance!! It was a very enjoyable and memorable night!
