What a day... we woke up and left the house by 6:45 am to get to hospital at 7am .. . checked in etc. and John was supposed to get surgery at 9am and Gia 11:30, but then we were told they will do the siblings one after another and arrange the schedule to reflect this, then there was some emergency and after everything John went in after 12 and Gia around 1:30 and it got super tough as both did not eat or drink from the night before...John was a trooper and now looks like a boxer and Gia we had to get calming medicine because she was getting very disoriented and that helped for when they took her in.. both surgeries went well.. We knew Gia was going to wake up cranky and crying and she did just that.. all was well when we got some fluids in both of them and they ate.. by the time they went to bed all was normal.. Sal and I feel like we have been hit by trucks haha, we are so glad all of this is over and both of our loves did so well. They are both sleeping now and it is time for me to do the same...
