Prayers please....

Here is our Dante... Tomasina's 7 year old boy... I have posted pictures of Dante and his sister Valentina before on my blog. Dante has just been diagnosed with cancer and has an inoperable tumor in his lung. Today, Dante was put on a chemo pill to hopefully throw the cancer in remission, if Tommy did not try this pill out he would only have about 8 more weeks... please pray that this pill does in fact put the cancer in remission  and there are no side effects that would make Dante worse.. this has been very hard news on Tommy and being with her last week when she got the news was extremely difficult for me. These are the times I wish we lived closer and I know one day that will happen, but right now it is not so. Dante will be showered with even more love than he already gets.. if that is possible... I know your family in AZ Dante is sending you all the love and prayers we have, our sweet big boy, we would not have it any other way.. WE LOVE YOU!

8 weeks old!

Our little chunk a roo is  8 weeks today! WOW has the time flown... I love every minute with my sweet love.. he smiles at me now and tracks me with his eyes.. he for sure knows his mommy and LOVES to be held.. my little ham... eating well and last night believe it or not after feeding him at 10:30 pm he slept all the way to 5:30am!!!!! OMG I could not believe it.. I think it may have been a fluke.. who knows but it sure felt good to get some solid rest... he should be starting to take more at feedings too, right now it is 4 oz steady and sometimes 5 oz.. last night it was 5oz and this morning it was 5 oz.. the longer the span between feedings the more he takes... with that may come longer spans of sleep... we shall see.. John goes for his 2 month check next Tuesday and here comes the round of shots.. his father will be there for that I can't be in there right now.. I can do it when they are a little older like when Jeej had her last shot I was in there for that.. but for now with John.. Sal can be in there :) I bought the Baby Comfy Nose aspirator and it ROCKS.. the blue bulby thing they give you at the hospital stinks period... this contraption is awesome and much more safe and sterile... used it last night to get some excess boogies out of John's nose and it worked beautifully and was much less invasive for him... everything else is great with little one I am having the time of my life with my son!!!

John is 6 weeks old!!

Our sweet little love is 6 weeks today already!!! Time is flying!! He is really "porking" up in his face, that sweet face I can't stop kissing, and his legs! He is eating great and starting to smile more and more.. he is just a dream... When he looks up at me when I am feeding him I melt and one of my favorites is when he is sleeping on my chest and I look down at that little face and he has a slight grin on like he is in heaven! He sleeps 2-2.5 hours sometimes 3 at a time at night... he is awake more during the day which is good... he makes all those little sounds, like a goat just like his sister did haha!

I had my 6 week check at the Dr and all is well. I am getting a procedure done soon called Essure.. it is permanent BC so no more babies for us.. 1 of each and healthy...what more could we ask for? The procedure is done right in my Dr's office, I need to go under for a bit, but it is over inside of 20 minutes... it takes up to 3 months for it to reach permanence... but it is much less invasive than tubes being tied.. so we opted for this..  :) all is well, Jeej is talking ALL the time.. love that little voice of her's and she is just the best and makes me laugh nonstop all day long with her mannerisms.. All is good in Mastropolo land..  :) It is getting hotter now... so that means POOL TIME with the kiddies YAY!!!
