Gia is officially a Gecko!!! WOO HOO

We just registered Gia for kindergarten today at Desert Sage Elementary... so so happy and thrilled with the school. A+ School of Excellence for 2015 and Principal of the Year Lisa Crain...funny story I worked with Lisa at Greenway 9 years ago for my first 2 years she was just going into administration and shadowing my past Principal.. what a small world. I asked a million questions of course and left feeling so contented.. first event is next Thursday for their Art night!!! I honestly can't believe she is registered for kindergarten and she will be in the Mandarin program!!! Where did the time go now she is my little Gecko and super excited!!!

Happy Veteran's Day .. Phoenix Veteran's Day Parade 2015

Getting ready... this was the back of the float I stood by the American Flag and  Sal stood on the other side by a POW flag

The 101st capture the Nazi flag!

My sweet student

Capturing the Nazi flag
The real Nazi flag capture from D Day

While at the parade our munchkins were having a blast with Nana NY
Sal and I were asked to be on a float for the Phoenix Veteran's Day Parade.. Such an honor! We were on the Patriot Youth Corps float.. it was an amazing day that started at 7am and ended about 3... I took a student in my current class that is ranked as Captain which is the highest level one can attain in my class and this special girl already is at the top, so her parents were honored that I asked her to come with us... what fun it was!  Very emotional to say the least. 45,000 people came out to the parade and to honor all the people who have served and are serving our country to protect our freedom... it was a priceless experience that Sal and I will never forget.
