10 months 4 weeks!!

We still can't believe Gia is going to be officially 11 months on April 4th. I can remember last year at this time..one of my best friends (more like a sister) and mom threw me a surprise shower which was one of the best days ever and I remember my belly started really growing and getting bigger by the day!

Look at this little body.. I swear I want to eat it all up!!

There are those "Rockette" leggies!!!!

That face!!!!!!
Gia is just so amazing to us, she continues to grow and change  and we are just in awe of our little love. She can start to form words that we are practicing with her. She wants to just get up and walk, we can tell. She gets tired and bored of being in the walker and stroller sometimes now.  She is constantly picking herself up and trying to take those first steps and I do not think that is a far time off. She is definitely a mover and shaker... no doubt about that. Gia is also starting to feed herself her little puff snacks and likes drinking from her sippy cup, independence here we come! Gia sure loves being with her Daddy and of course vice versa...It is so cute and I am just in love with watching Sal and Gia together. The bond between a father and daughter is truly treasurable and priceless. I am very very close to my Dad and I can see already the super close bond between Jeej and her Dada. Gia's alertness is amazing, she does not miss a trick... LOL.. my mom said the same thing about me LOL! Oh, Jeej we love you with everything we got!!

Gia's very first swim class!

Gia had her first swim class today and when I say she is fearless she is fearless. She did so well in the water  with Daddy it was awesome. I videotaped and took so many pictures!!! Gia was supposed to be in the Level 1 class from 6 months-18 months called The Tadpole Class... but they never called out for that class so Sal and I waited and waited and finally and instructor came out and we asked about The Tadpole Class and she said,"Just come with me." So, we did and it happened that Gia was in a level 2 class called The Minnows for kiddos 18 months-3 years... we had no idea about this until the class was over. The instructors thought she did so well that they want her to continue in Level 2!!!! Way to go Jeej!! That is our baby girl!!!! We love you so much and are SOOOOOOO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!!!

Gigi's first time at tea!

Gigi all ready for tea! Her own hat and all!! LOL!

Like a little cherub angel that she is...

Here comes the head band pics!!

Yes, Gia had a bit of a scone for the first time!

With the Easter bunny at Grandma and Grandpa's.. by the way that Easter bunny is the same bunny my brother and I grew up with... it is like what? over 30  years old LOL!!

My parents, Gia, and I all went for tea today. My Mom and I have been going to tea for about 14 years. My Mom, Grandma, and I always went to The Ritz for tea every year then shopping at Fashion Square, it was our thing to do. When my Grandma passed in March of 2004, my Mom and I kept up the tradition especially every March in honor of Grandma. My Dad and I started going to Father-Daughter tea at The Ritz 4 years ago, a tradition we do every Father's Day together, it is very special and something that Sal will do with Gia when she is old enough. Gia was so cute and we had the best time. We put one of the "special tea hats/headbands" on Gia and she looked adorable. We all had a blast... hmm maybe Gia will have a new tradition going "Tea with my Grandma and Grandpa!" Love you Mom and Dad and thanks for an awesome time as always!!!
