Goodbye 2014... Hello 2015!!

As I reflect back on 2014 I am very thankful for everything in my life, health, family and great friends. To my children, Gia and John you are and forever will be my gifts from God. I love you both more than you will ever know. I will never be able to express how much you mean to mean in my heart and soul. Watching you both grow this year has been an amazing experience...there is not a day that does not go by that I do not laugh with the two of you or thank God for you. To my husband, Sal, you are our rock.. I love you and also thank God I am blessed with you in my life. I know we drive each other crazy sometimes.. but that is what makes us who we are and like others say when they are around us, we are like a sitcom! I appreciate everything you do for all of us.. again our rock.

For 2015... this will be a continued year to make things happen... personally and professionally. It will be a year to start off fresh, happy, blank pages where no tolerance for BS will be written... there were many eye opening experiences for me this year.. some very happy and some heartbreaking. Nevertheless.. life is a wave I will continue to ride happily and authentically in 2015 and surround myself with divine light and guidance. Cheers to 2015!! Let's do this!

Oli.... the snake!

Cute little Oli!! King snake....and so so gentle... funny thing is Oli escaped from her box in the house... and she was hanging out climbing the blinds... of course I did not look up and was looking everywhere grounded... finally looked up and there she was!!! Thank goodness Bella and Bosco did not get her.. I am not sure if they would have done anything but thank goodness I will never have to know.. Gia loved holding her and was so gentle doing so. Fun times with Oli!

Christmas is approaching...

It feels so good to be off now from work. The house is all decorated and ready for us to host Christmas. Esmerelda Goldenbeam (our elf on shelf)  has been reporting to Santa how Gia and John have been.. so good things in store for the kiddies... Nana made cookies with Gia on Friday as I had to work later than usual and they are delicious.. John double fists the cookies and I need to cut Gia off on them that is how good they are! Last Saturday night we hosted a dinner here for some of my students who are really doing extraordinary in our WW2 Pilot project the 452nd Bomb Group in my Language Arts class. Sal made a mass amount of ziti and garlic bread and I set up a long table by our Christmas tree for us to eat. It was an amazing night and so much fun... toasting with egg nog and celebrating their successes truly a night to remember! We are ready for Christmas!!
Our sweet Gigi. Ciao Bella!

Dinner time!

I think it is so important to eat together as a family.. until now John has been in his highchair and used to eat first and then I would feed Gia.. now Gia does not need to be strapped into her booster seat anymore so John has taken over that spot and Gia has a  regular booster.. we all eat at the table as one with no TV on unless it is music and believe it or not Gia is addicted to an Italian opera song LOL! These are certainly priceless moments and one that as a family we plan on doing for always.
