Some new pix of the kiddos... Gia loves to try on my slippers.. my mom has a picture of me about the same age as Gigi trying on her orange platforms back in the day.. hmmm so that is when the shoe craze started with me!! John is talking more and more, well his baby language.. a lot of da da da.. Sal of course thinks he is saying "Dada" but it actually is normal sounds to first come from a  baby... sorry honey... anyway.. everything is great... each day is just a complete blessing with these 2 love of our lives!!!

Paradise Valley School District turns 100 years old...

Sal and I got asked to be a part of my school district's Centennial celebration Saturday night... it was a good time... all schools were represented in PV and each decade from 1913 to present day had mini exhibits and representations from these era's, we were part if the 1940-50's area... there was a parade, food and fireworks. Greenway MS where I teach is the very first school in PVUSD also.  Here are some pictures... and yes, nutty me did dance the Electric Slide and Cuban shuffle in full gear... First Lt. 29th Infantry combat nurse!

John's 27 weeks and first try at peas! Update...

All is well here! John is 27 weeks...and really liking all the new types of food! Thank goodness... we are at peas now... soon we will move to meats when he is a solid 7 months...Gia is great.. she makes me laugh everyday.. what a little personality..  I went to hospital today to get my HSG test which is the test after the Essure procedure to make sure the Essure went well and it did... so all is ok now.. it was not a pleasant procedure.. they had to out a catheter in me to get to my cervix and shoot contrast up and make me move from left to right in order to make sure my fallopian tubes are indeed closed off.... it was super uncomfortable and a lot of pressure, almost like a mild contraction... I was glad when it was over.. it did not take long, just a little dizzy afterward... I am glad all of that is now over for good.

We all went to see Dr. West today because Gigi got her flu shot and John had his 6 month check and all is great.. eyes, ear, heart , throat , everything.. 2 bottom teeth coming soon... Dr. West said John has a death grip and how strong he is which is true!!! Our little love got his 6 month shots today and his flu.. he has to go back in 1 month for another flu as it is given twice for babies his age.. John is 27.5 in long and weighs 19 lbs.. since 4 month check he has gained 3.7 lbs and grew in length a little more than 2 inches.. that's our boy!!! God Bless him he is doing great! Next growth check is at 9 months and more shots ): ..... Until then.. our giggling love.... WE LOVE YOU!!
